The first round of the "Summer Challenge" camp in the Adam Mickiewicz Library has ended.[:]
Due to the project – “Strengthening Moldova’s social cohesion and resilience to the Ukrainian refugee crisis” with the support of Solidarities International the first round of the “Summer Challenge” camp in the “Adam Mickiewicz” Library has ended.
With certificates, prizes, praise, applause, emotions and many memories the children, participants of the first round, left the camp.
“Chisinau is a green city, an eco-city!” is the motto guiding the organization of interesting and fun activities for children, participants of “Summer Challenge – 2023”
In 2 weeks the children learned about soil types and its pollution and degradation processes, they benefited from a yoga session and a plasticine modeling workshop with the painter – illustrator Elena Leșcu.
Also, 20 children learned directly from specialists in the field what are the wastes that complicate our lives the most, how we should correctly sort the garbage, what attitude we should have towards each type of waste and what each of us should do individually to reduce the amount of garbage in our city.
The children had the opportunity to experiment and sort their rubbish right in the library.
Thank you for this informative and entertaining hour, to the ladies from the Municipal Self-Sanitation Company, but also to the BM “B.P.Hasdeu” Administration, who initiated and coordinated this wonderful collaboration.
