Moldova, Georgia, Mozambique and Nepal are working to increase women's access to safe abortion[:]
The SAAF (Safe Abortion Action Fund) Proposal Development Review workshop was held in Istanbul on the 6th – 9th March 2018 (see Agenda and List of Participants).
The main goal of the workshop was to meet each other, learn about SAAF and finalize the partners proposals.
The Reproductive Health Training Center (RHTC) implemented 2 SAAF projects: Increasing the quality of abortion care within a comprehensive package of reproductive health services in Transnistria (2014-2016) and Improving uptake of contraceptives within post abortion care in Transnistria (2017-2018).
From 2015 RHTC, the coordinating organization of the Regional Training Center on Development and Implementation of Clinical Guidelines and Protocols on Reproductive Health, will implement a regional project to improve quality, access to safe abortion and prevent unwanted pregnancy.
Dr. Rodica Comendant, Coordinator of the Regional Training Center attended this workshop.
