Although WHO guidelines recommend that both medical and surgical methods should be available, the dilation and evacuation (D&E) technique is available only on a limited basis or not at all in many countries.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">These differences affect the management of several clinical situations, including miscarriage, pregnancy termination due to fetal anomalies or maternal medical indications, and other obstetric complications requiring timely uterine evacuation. According to the project description, the lack of standardized training programmes, limited mentorship opportunities, insufficient data collection, and inadequate collaboration between countries contribute to these disparities.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The EQUIP network will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, patient representatives, and other stakeholders from across Europe.
