We strongly believe that each person, no matter where he lives, no matter of the sex, age, ethnicity, presence of any physical or any other impairment, etc.,\u00a0 has the same sexual and reproductive rights and should enjoy the complete state of sexual and reproductive health and access to quality services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main goals of RHTC are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure equal access to quality reproductive health and rights information and services, especially for adolescents, women and girls, people with disability, and from other social marginalized groups;<\/li>\n<li>Provide education on sexual and reproductive health and rights;<\/li>\n<li>Promote the concept of safe abortion among medical professionals and community members in Moldova<\/li>\n<li>Promote sexual and reproductive rights, as an incontestable basic human right;<\/li>\n<li>Implement WHO recommendations on modern methods of contraception and safe abortion;<\/li>\n<li>Promote a sexual health life style.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RHTC is an organization with professional staff, which includes mainly medical doctors with extensive expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, in evidence-based medicine, safe abortion, perinatal technologies, cancer prevention and family planning.<\/p>\n<p>The main\u00a0<strong>directions\u00a0<\/strong>of activities of the RHTC are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capacity building of service providers and community members in reproductive health issues.<\/li>\n<li>Development, scientific justification and implementation of community members\u2019 and doctors\u2019 training programs in reproductive health;<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of cost-efficient technologies, recommended by WHO, concerning pregnancy interruption, the concept of \u201cpatient-centered system\u201d in the reproductive health services providing system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cidsr.md\/en\/portofoliu\/proiecte\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">22 projects<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cidsr.md\/en\/portofoliu\/studii-clinice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">9 clinical studies<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cidsr.md\/en\/portofoliu\/analize-situationale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">4 situation analysis<\/a>\u00a0were implemented by RHTC in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, World Health Organization, UNFPA, SMPU \u201cN.
