Moldova;<\/li>\n<li>Regional Development Center for Human Resources in Health, being the member of the South East European Health Network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PROJECT CONTEX: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cidsr.md\/en\/planificarea-familiala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Family planning<\/a> is one of the divisions of National Reproductive Health Strategy for 2005-2015, approved by the Moldovan Government in 2005. The objectives of this strategy are: to ensure optimal conditions for reproduction function of couples and individuals; reducing the role of abortion as a method of birth control by providing modern contraceptive options; increase knowledge of the population; increasing accessibility of population to qualified family planning and reproductive health services. To facilitate achieving these objectives, at the initiative of the Moldovan <a href=\"http:\/\/ms.gov.md\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Health<\/a> is planned the implementation of a number of activities within the project implemented by the Reproductive Health Training Center (CIDSR).<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROJECT GOAL: <\/strong>Identify bottlenecks and facilitating factors in the provision of family planning in Republic of Moldova and identify the gaps and disconnections between the process and methodology currently used for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) guideline development and the process recommended by Royal College of Obstetricians &amp; Gynecologists from UK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROJECT OBJECTIVES<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify the bottlenecks and facilitating factors in the provision of family planning in primary health care;<\/li>\n<li>Identify how the Family Planning subject is reflected in existing pre- and post-graduate University curricula, and determine how VIC (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vic.eeirh.org\/online\/oldstart.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.vic.eeirh.org\/online\/start.html<\/a>) can be adapted for incorporation into the curricula);<\/li>\n<li>Development of the regulation on estimation, procurement, distribution, monitoring and evaluation of contraceptives for socially vulnerable groups of population;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening\u00a0 the capacity of family doctors providing the family planning services;<\/li>\n<li>Identify the gaps in SRH guideline development in the Republic of Moldova and disconnections between this process and the process recommended by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology from UK;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Development of national follow-up action plan for SRH guideline development in accordance with the process recommended by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology from UK, including the identification of the existing SRH national guideline developers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROJECT ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Situation analysis to identify bottlenecks and facilitating factors in the provision of family planning (survey of health professionals and beneficiaries);<\/li>\n<li>Situation analysis of existing pre- and post-graduate University curricula to identify how the FP subject is reflected, and determine how VIC (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vic.eeirh.org\/online\/oldstart.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.vic.eeirh.org\/online\/start.html<\/a>) can be adapted for incorporation into the curricula;<\/li>\n<li>Development of the regulation on estimation, procurement, distribution, monitoring and evaluation of contraceptives for socially vulnerable groups of population;<\/li>\n<li>Organization of advanced training on Family Planning for the national experts\u2019 team on FP;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening\u00a0 the capacity of family doctors providing the family planning services by elaborating and disseminating the Informative Bulletins on contraception; developing the \u201dFamily Planning\u201d chapter on RHTC website and uploading the links to World Health Organization (WHO) publications and Moldavian Ministry of Health related documents; distribution of WHO guidelines on family planning;<\/li>\n<li>Situation analysis of the SRH guideline development in the Republic of Moldova;<\/li>\n<li>Organization of national conference on SRH clinical guidelines;<\/li>\n<li>Advocacy for evidence based guidelines development in RM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IMPACT of the PROJECT<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RHTC\u00a0organized and conducted 10 trainings \u00a0for family doctors in family planning: recommendations, WHO clinical guidelines and protocols<\/li>\n<li>300 family doctors have been trained within 10 trainings for family doctors in family planning<\/li>\n<li>There were distributed more than 800 WHO Handbooks to\u00a0family doctors from \u00a0Moldova<\/li>\n<li>22 newsletters have been prepared based on &#8220;Family Planning. The objectives of this strategy are: to ensure optimal conditions for reproduction function of couples and individuals; reducing the role of abortion as a method of birth control by providing modern contraceptive options; increase knowledge of the population; increasing accessibility of population to qualified family planning and reproductive health services. Obiectivele acestei strategii sunt: asigurarea condi\u021biilor optime pentru realizarea func\u021biei reproducerii a cuplurilor \u0219i indivizilor; reducerea rolului avortului ca metod\u0103 de reglare a natalit\u0103\u021bii prin asigurarea cu op\u021biuni contraceptive moderne; ridicarea nivelului de cuno\u0219tin\u021be al popula\u021biei; cre\u0219terea accesibilit\u0103\u021bii \u0219i adresabilit\u0103\u021bii popula\u021biei la servicii calificate de <a href=\"https:\/\/cidsr.md\/planificare-familiala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">planificare familial\u0103<\/a> \u0219i s\u0103n\u0103tate a reproducerii. familie care presteaz\u0103 servicii de <a href=\"https:\/\/cidsr.md\/planificare-familiala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">planificare familial\u0103<\/a> prin elaborarea \u0219i distribuirea <a href=\"https:\/\/cidsr.md\/planificare-familiala\/buletine-informative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buletinelor Informative<\/a> despre <a href=\"https:\/\/cidsr.md\/planificarea-familiala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contracep\u021bie<\/a>; crearea compartimentului de \u201d<a \u00een planificarea familial\u0103;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Evaluarea procesului actual de dezvoltare a ghidurilor \u00een SSR \u00een R. Moldova;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Organizarea unei conferin\u021be na\u021bionale privind dezvoltarea ghidurile clinice din domeniul SSR \u00een R. Moldova;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Advocacy pentru dezvoltarea ghidurilor bazate pe dovezi \u00een RM.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>IMPACTUL PROIECTULUI<\/strong>:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>CIDSR a organizat \u0219i desf\u0103\u0219urat 10 seminare\u00a0de instruire a medicilor de familie \u00een planificarea familiei: recomand\u0103rile, ghidurile \u0219i protocoalele clinice ale OMS<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\u00cen decursul celor 10 seminare\u00a0de instruire a medicilor de familie \u00een planificarea familiei au fost instruiti 300 medici de familie<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Au fost distribuite peste 800 de manuale OMS\u00a0medicilor de familie din R.
