Health and Rights and the Swedish Association for Sexuality and Education have developed a <em><strong>joint statement<\/strong><\/em> on abortion rights for delivery at the upcoming<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>39th\u00a0session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The focus of this year\u2019s statement is on <em><strong>abortion right defenders<\/strong><\/em> (including service providers) and a<em><strong>bortion stigma.<\/strong><\/em> This initiative builds on last year\u2019s successful joint CSO statement to the Council when over 285 organizations signed on to the statement and we hope even more organizations across movements will voice their support this year!<\/p>\n<p
