Improving access to inclusive and rights-based sexuality information: an arts-based approach

PROJECT GOAL: To advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) among young people in Moldova.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- Improve access to engaging, educational, age-appropriate sexuality education resources for young people.
- Strengthen the capacity of medical students to facilitate inclusive, rights-based discussions about SRHR topics with peers and other young people.
- Enhance opportunities for collabrative SRHR-focused activities among civil society organizations, duty bearers, and rights holders.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES:
- Launch a series of inclusive and equitable gender-focused sexuality videos.
- Carry out awareness raising campaign regarding universal sexual and reproductive rights, gender equity, and healthy sexual behaviors.
- Conduct training of trainers for medical student peer educators on presenting sexuality education materials and navigating related discussions.
- Facilitate an exchange between Swedish and Moldovan medical students involved in facilitating peer-to-peer and school-level sexuality education discussions.
- Produce and distribute informational SRHR booklets to project beneficiaries.
- Carry out stakeholder dissemination meeting to discuss project outcomes and develop an action plan for sustaining activities
