Renovation and adaptation of the Adam Mickiewicz Library sanitary block and the start of summer camp[:]
The Reproductive Health Training Centre, through the project “Strengthening Moldova’s social cohesion and resilience to the Ukrainian refugee crisis”, within the framework of the summer camp for children, and with the support of Solidarities International, managed to renovate and adapt the sanitary block of the “Adam Mickiewicz” Library for people with special needs, including locomotor disabilities. As a result of this renovation, people in wheelchairs can spend more time in the library and benefit from all services.
More than 130 children, including refugees from Ukraine, will have the opportunity to participate in the library’s summer program – “Summer Challenge”.
For the “Adam Mickiewicz” Library, the summer of the year – 2023 is expected to be productive. Together with more than 20 children, registered for each tour of the day camp, will be promoted a healthy way of life in a green city, such as Chisinau.
In addition to discussing how to keep the city clean, the children will spend a lot of time outside in nature.
From the activities agenda:
Sports, English classes, Romanian classes, social games, ECO creative workshop, cooking workshop, lessons about hygiene and health, reading tour and many, many smiles.
